Last week we had a brilliant day running a brand workshop with Exmoor National Park Authority regarding the Exmoor Moorlands Landscape Partnership Scheme project that we are developing.
You will agree that EMLPS is a lousy acronym and that the full name is also a great contender for the worst project name in history. So how did we start to establish something that sounded better? We talked about values.
What values do we want the project to portray? What is the purpose of the project? Who is the project meant to inspire?
Once we had established a key set of values, it was far simpler to come up with a suitable project name by asking the question, "Does this name reflect the values of the project?"
What was the name? You'll have to wait and see.
